In April 2024, Lama Igor, along with a few friends, decided to give the Buddha statue in our temple in Grabnik a special touch by ordering new robes, inspired by those adorning the statue at the Benchen Monastery in Kathmandu. This idea quickly gained the appreciation and support of our sangha members, who enthusiastically got involved in making the project a reality.

The materials chosen for the robes were carefully selected—high-quality fabrics were chosen, and everything was custom-tailored by a craftsman in Pharping. Thanks to the kindness of the lamas from the monastery, the robes arrived just in time for the Kagyu Monlam, making this occasion even more special.
